The Royal Mint’s stunning Royal Tudor Beasts series continues to celebrate England’s Royals with this two-ounce silver coin. With its ‘Lion of England’ design, this commemorative bullion celebrates the impressive reign of the Tudors from 1485 to 1603.

Award-winning designer David Lawrence crafted the design, which depicts the Lion of England growling with claws out and a regal crown adorning his majestic mane. The lion is protecting the shield, which bears the Royal Arms of King Henry VIII, perhaps the most well-known and controversial figures in England’s history.

On the obverse is a majestic display of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II sitting atop a highly textured background, with the silver coin’s face value of five pounds.
