Although we do not yet have a storefront for you to visit, we do have fast and friendly buying and selling methods. For buyers, we offer prompt shipping to anywhere in Canada, and for sellers, please visit our “sell your precious metals” page for more information.

It’s easy! Our website has hundreds of products made from gold, silver, platinum and copper at highly competitive prices. Simply select the item you wish to buy, enter your quantity, then go through the checkout process, just like other online stores. If you are interested in valuable products not listed online, feel free to contact us and we will try our best to find the product you’re looking for.

Once your payment has been processed, Royal Bull will send you a confirmation and ship your item.

We understand the process of buying precious metals and want to keep your costs as low as possible. That’s why we have a wide range of payment options available, including e-transfer, wire transfer, bank draft, verified cheque, PayPal, Mastercard and VISA.

Your order can be cancelled as long as it has not yet been shipped. Your order cancellation will be subject to a $30 (CAD) cancellation fee. Royal Bull also reserves the right to limit future orders until all previous cancellation fees are paid.

Depending on your payment method, there may be a minimum amount you will need to spend.  Some orders over $500 may be eligible for discounts depending on the price, product and current promotion.

Our website shopping platform has a maximum order allowance of $100,000. For larger quantities, or if you have any questions about your order, you are welcome to contact us.

Digital payments not received within 72 hours may be subject to cancellation. Certified cheques and bank drafts not received in 10 business days may be subject to cancellation.

Yes. We encourage you to buy higher quantities to ensure you receive our preferred prices. For extra-large quantities, please contact us.

We use the latest spot price and include a small premium, determined based on the supply of the product, the brand of the product and the condition of the product.

You will first need to create an account on Royal Bull’s website. Just like other online stores, you will need to provide your full name, mailing address, email address, phone number and billing/payment information.

If your order’s package looks tampered with, do not accept delivery from the carrier. Contact Royal Bull.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please fill out a claim form within 24 hours of the package being delivered. This applies to incorrect orders, missing contents or damaged items.

The “file-a-claim” form will ask you for your order details and photos of your package and its contents. The Royal Bull team will work with you to resolve the claim.

Please keep in mind that customers are responsible for all related charges including shipping costs, insurance costs and if/any market loss.

All of the products you see on our online store are produced by world-class mints from around the world. Each item undergoes Royal Bull’s rigorous quality assurance testing for purity and weight.

All orders will be shipped within two business days after your payment has cleared. For special preorders, please read the product description to determine the delivery date.

Within two business days after your payment has cleared we will mail your package. From there, it depends on the speed of the delivery service you selected as well as your location. Many of Royal Bull’s customers receive their purchases within four business days. For more information, please read our “Shipping & Delivery” page.

We offer a $25 flat-fee shipping rate for Canadian customers. International customers can contact us for preferred pricing to ship to their country.

Royal Bull’s website does not offer delivery outside of Canada, but we encourage our international shoppers to contact us to secure your product and arrange shipment.

All shipments are sent by Canada Post or FedEx based on your location and product. Always expedited, fully insured and registered. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order has been shipped.

We ensure you receive your product in untouched condition each and every time you order with Royal Bull.

The products in your package are carefully and individually wrapped whether it’s a gold bar, a single silver coin or a tube of rounds. Next, we ship your order in a brown or white box and ensure we do not give any indication of the contents of your package.

Yes. Every package is covered by our insurance policy should the unlikely happen.

Sorry, for your own protection and security we do not ship precious metal purchases to PO boxes.

All shipments require a signature upon delivery. Royal Bull does not accept responsibility beyond delivery confirmation by the carrier. Additionally, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions to delivery services or carriers to leave parcels unattended or deliver at a different address than provided such as neighbours, building managers, or other units at your address.

We encourage you to follow up with your package carrier using the tracking number provided. They will be able to help you in discovering your package’s location.

This refers to the purity of precious metal – .999 is 99.9% pure, while .9999 is 99.99% pure. This extra-pure involves additional refining to remove impurities. Some mints, such as the Royal Canadian Mint, exclusively use 99.99% pure silver and gold.

In one troy ounce, there are exactly 31.1034768 grams. This is especially handy when converting weights or comparing weights of differing country origins.

Gold and platinum with a minimum purity of 99.5% are exempt from sales tax, while silver with a minimum purity of 99.9% is exempt from sales tax when they are sold as investments. Precious metals with lower purity levels must include provincial and federal sales tax.

Bullion and coins with a value of $1,000 or more are subject to capital gains tax.

This applies to Canadian buyers only. Royal Bull encourages you to speak with your accountant about your tax obligations when investing in precious metals.

Preserve your precious metals by keeping them secure in their protective container. If they are loose, be very careful while handling, cleaning and storing.

Avoid unnecessary handling to avoid damaging them with your natural skin oils or by accidentally dropping them. Even latex gloves have powders and lubricants that can ruin precious metals.

Place the precious metal coin, round or bar on a soft towel sitting on a sturdy surface. If you need to pick it up with your fingers, use the edge of the product to avoid damaging the design or smudging the face.

Cleaning precious metals is rarely needed. If your metals are dirty, consider using a very mild soap and water solution, then patting dry. Any other cleaners risk ruining the surface of the metal.

The name originates from Troye, France, and grew in popularity to become the standard weight of measurement for many precious metals and equals 31.1034768 grams. This ensures the finest purity. When reading product descriptions, troy ounce can be read as “t. oz.” or “oz. t.”.

A spot price is a current price that the commodity costs. Although they are constantly changing, they are very important as they tell traders how the price of a commodity at an exact moment in time. They are used to determine future prices.

This is a number that refers to the number of precious metal pieces produced by the mint. Coins with a low mintage (smaller number) are often more valuable since there are fewer available to purchase.

This is the organization that produces the precious metal pieces (bars, coins, rounds, etc.) By purchasing items produced by a government-supported mint, you are guaranteeing yourself a quality product.

For government-issued coins, one side often has a head of state. This is the obverse side, also called ‘heads’. (Abbreviated as obv.)

This is a short-form for “Brilliant Uncirculated”. This is in reference to a coin that has never been circulated and retains all of its original lustre. Other terms for this same condition are “Mint State” and “Uncirculated”. The only grade about BU is “proof” coins.

This means that these coins have been used for everyday transactions. Circulated coins will have wear on the faces, could be lacking in lustre or have scratches or detail issues.

This is the highest grade possible in coin condition. A proof coin was made especially for collecting, not for everyday transactions, and goes through a more rigorous production process. It is struck twice to give the coin an extra shine, they often have a lower mintage and are higher in collectability.

These worn or damaged circulated silver coins have no value apart from the weight of the metal they are made of. Although “junk silver” may sound like the coin is worthless, the word “junk” only refers to the value of the coin as a collectible. These coins often have higher purity, like old Canadian Silver dollars produced pre-1965.

This abbreviation means “palladium”. Only discovered 200 years ago, this silver/white chemical element. Only a few deposits of palladium have been discovered around the world, so it is very scarce, resulting in its high value among investors and collectors.
