The fifth year of the Bank of Rwanda’s Lunar Ounce series celebrates the Year of the Tiger. As the world’s largest living cat, the tiger is the true king of the jungle, which makes it a must-have in any collection honouring bravery, ferocity and leadership. The obverse side of this one-ounce silver coin features a mosaic pattern of a tiger as well as the Chinese symbol for Year of the Tiger. Surrounding this unique design as the words “Year of the Tiger”, “Lunar Ounce”, “1oz FINE SILVER 999” and “2022”.
The reverse side includes the official seal of Rwanda with the National Bank of Rwanda “Banki Nkuru Y’U Rwanda” and the face value of 50 Francs.
