There is a pearl finish on the obverse field of each bar, while the reverse has a high-relief, textured finish. There is a unique serial number on each bar, typical of bullion coins, and each bar has a ribbed edge. Furthermore, the reverse of the card has a UV coating that displays the LEV rhombus and serial number when held under a black light.
