Released just prior to the opening of the phenomenal Marvel movie Black Panther, this one-ounce silver coin features the titular hero in his signature pose ready to pounce on his prey.
Officially licensed by Marvel, the coin was crafted by Perth Mint’s artisans who fully captured the thrill of the movie with the design. In the upper left corner can be found the Marvel logo with the movie title “Black Panther”. The copyright mark for “Marvel” can also be seen.
As a member of the British Commonwealth, Tuvalu has included a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse of this legal tender coin. (It has a face value of $1.) Beneath the QUeen’s neck can be found the initials of the effigy designer Ian Rank-Broadley, who completed this design in 1998.
