Inspired by the United States of America’s Buffalo Nickels (also known as Indian Head Nickels), this silver bar forever commemorates American sculptor James Earle Fraser’s iconic buffalo (bison) design. Proudly standing on a mound, the buffalo is similar to the one used for the 1913 nickel, which was produced until 1938.

The obverse side of the one-ounce Silvertowne Buffalo silver bar features an indigenous figure adopted from the original Buffalo Nickel which gives this bar an historic feel.
