The U.S. Mint has had large demand for its American Silver Eagle coins since they debuted in 2008. Due to increasing demand, the San Francisco Mint began coining the American Silver Eagle coins.
The coin features Lady Liberty walking toward the sunrise. The words “LIBERTY” stretch over her head, while “In God We Trust” and the year sit lower.
The United States of America’s coat of arms adorned the obverse side, which has the country’s name in bold lettering as well as the coin’s attributes: “1oz Fine Silver One Dollar”.
