The classic animated television show The Simpsons had its iconic troublemaker Bart Simpson forever immortalized in this one ounce of pure silver.
Produced for the South Pacific Island nation of Tuvalu by the Perth Mint in Australia, this .9999 fine silver coin with a low mintage of only 25,000 coins is a must-have for investors who appreciate classic television programs, stunning designs and a good laugh.
The reverse of course is Bart Simpson, with his hands at his ears and tongue sticking out, with his name “Bart Simpson” in all-caps below this hilarious image. Note the tiny “P” mark to the left of Bart’s face signifying the Perth Mint as well as the signature of Matt Groening, the creator of The Simpsons.
The obverse, as with all modern coinage from The Commonwealth, has a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Surrounding her image is her name “Queen Elizabeth II” along with “1oz 9999 Ag”, “2022”, “Tuvalu” and “1 Dollar”. Note the initials of the effigy designer below the Queen’s neck.
