Australia’s free-roaming wild horse is honoured with this limited-edition coin produced by the country’s celebrated Perth Mint.
The forever free brumbies can be found throughout Australia but most commonly in the Australian Alps, Northern Territory and Queensland. People around the world appreciate these wild creatures, and have sought out these special coins which are in limited quantities, with every year’s issue featuring a different brumby pose.
Made of 99.99% pure silver and with a value of one dollar, the coin features a galloping brumby as it charges through a pool of water, splashing water into the air. Above the majestic creature is its name “AUSTRALIAN BRUMBY” and below can be found some of the coin’s attributes: “2021 1oz 9999 SILVER”.
The obverse features coin design Jody Clark’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with the coin’s face value.
