Produced using one kilogram of 99.99% pure silver, this large coin is a part of the well-known Australian Lunar Series III produced by the Perth Mint. In 2022, the tiger represents the third of twelve animals of the Ancient Lunar Calendar.
A cute tiger cub follows closely behind its proud parent as they bravely prowl a rocky terrain on the reverse side. Among the tigers are bamboo trees and fern plants. A Chinese symbol for the Tiger is shown above the animals with the inscription “TIGER 2022” beneath it. Lastly, the Perth Mint’s classic “P” mintmark appears on the left side of the coin.
This 1 kg Year of the Tiger Silver Coin is similar to its smaller counterparts, but the larger amount of silver content helps to ensure that you receive the best price for your investment.
