The triumphant ending of the Bible’s Noah’s Ark story is brought to life by coin producer Leipziger Edelmetallverarbeitungs GmbH. The obverse of this stunning silver coin depicts a dove carrying an olive branch with its wings spread, flying in front of the Ark in flood waters. Mount Ararat, a proud national symbol of Armenia, is in the background with the sunrise.
The reverse shows the Armenian Coat of Arms, official name of Armenia in both English and Armenian, legal tender, weight, purity and metal type, and the hallmark of the Leipzig Mint where this coin is minted.
The Noah’s Ark silver bullion coins have been minted since 2011 and the motif of the coin has remained constant since its inception. As legal tender in Armenia, production is subject to the strict requirements of Armenia’s central bank.
