The Turkish government established the Istanbul Gold Refinery (IGR) to provide gold refinery expertise to Turkey as well as surrounding countries. Since its inception in 1996, it has grown to be a regional and international powerhouse, producing tons of gold products every day while being a key member of the revered International Precious Metals Institute.

The Istanbul Gold Refinery (IGR) has stringent purity, weight and design standards and has offices, production facilities and sales centres around the world.
